Rasova

Geographic location: Rasova Commune is located in the Northern side of the Constanta County, 78 km far from the Constanta Municipality and 18 km far from Cernavoda;

Structure: The commune encompasses the villages Rasova – as administrative seat and Cochirleni;

The commune is crossed by the County Road 223 A on the Corvin-Cernavoda route. A sector of 13 km of this County Road is crossing the localities parallel with the Danube river course.

Access ways: The County Road 223 A, 18 km far from the speedway;

Specific to the area activities: Agriculture, Animal Breading, Fishing, Horticulture.

Tourist objectives:

-          the Danube bank – the picturesque area having a high tourism potential.

-          both on the Danube bank and also near the channel that links the Danube river to the Balta Baciu (the Baciu Lake) there is an area situated on both river sides afforested by acacia and willow trees, an area especially requested for sportive fishing events.

Local Events: The Fest of Rasova Commune, festival organized yearly 50 days after the Orthodox Eastern.

Investment projects: The development of the sewerage network, the development of a sportive base, a port for pleasure boats, the development of an unit for the water treatment and waste water chlorination.
