The locality is situated in southwest Romania, on DN 70, 35 km from the city of Drobeta Turnu Severin. Burila Mare village has an opening of 15 km on the Danube River is the main resource that's why tourists. Another tourist obictiv Forest Reserve Forest is Bunget.
