Zheglitsa is a village in northwestern Bulgaria, in Vidin Municipality, Vidin District. It is situated 4 km from the Danube and 14 km from Vidin.
The elderly are predominant: they are engaged in agriculture and livestock, but only for personal consumption. The younger go to work in Vidin.
There are many beautiful forests and magnificent views on the Danube: the Island of Chiftiler is located along the riverbank near the village.
The Community centre "Nikola Vaptsarov" is new: It was built in 2010.
