Gomotartsi is a village in northwestern Bulgaria and is part of Vidin Municipality, Vidin District. It is situated on the banks of Danube River, 15 km from Vidin and 158 km from Sofia.

Its name, Gomotartsi, means noise from many people gathered in one place. For the first time it was mentioned in a document dated 1560.

The unemployment rate is very high. Lands are not fertile.

Favorite passtime is fishing and also football.
