Dolno Linevo is a village on the Danube, which is part of Lom Municipality (7 km), Montana District (48 km). It is located 129 km north of Sofia.

The village has well developed agriculture (especially wine yards) and livestock. It is a favorite location for fishing.

East over the village of Dolno Linevo is situated the homonymous protected area, declared in accordance with the Council directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora. It is a small area (31.62 ha) natural habitat, which survived on the highest Danube terraces and includes some rare and steppe relicts and endemics, such as Stachys arenariaeformis, Centaurea rumelica etc.

The perspectives are for ecological, rural, viticulture, agricultural and fishing tourism
