Botevo is a village in northwestern Bulgaria, in Vidin Municipality, Vidin District. It is located on the bank of the Danube on the main road between Vidin and Lom, near Tsar Simeonovo and Archar, 21 km south of Vidin and 134 km from Sofia.

The Church in Botevo, which is located on the bank of the Danube, although it was destroyed in 9th -10th c. during the Barbarian invasions, has high value as a monument: it has the rare form of a Cross and parts of early Byzantine pottery, amphorae, etc. were found in it.
