From the direction of Budapest Majosháza can be accessed by driving southwards on long-distance road 51. You have to turn off after Dunavarsány and take the approach. There are scheduled long-distance bus lines to Majosháza from Szigethalom, Baja, Kalocsa and also from the capital.
The territory of the settlement has been populated from the ancient times, something which is proved by graves from the metal age. You can find in the village several so-called “long houses” which have preserved the traditional village architecture and are representative of it. The peculiarity of Majosháza is its Reformed church in Kossuth street, consecrated in 1891, which is in miniature the church of Budapest Kálvin Square. The quiet Danube bank offers numerous excellent angler stands and gang-planks hidden in the reeds. There is an angler shop in the village which even the most demanding client shall find excellent. Those who arrive by boat or a smaller ship shall find ideal berths.
