Pancevo is an interesting town for sightseeing which is on the river Tamis. In it one can se iconostasis in the Church of the Gods metamorphosis, work of the famous painter Uros Predic, the construction of an old City hall in empire style from 1835, and old Brewery from 1772. There are nine preserved churches, among which the most important one is: Holy Madonna` s resurrection with iconostasis made by Constantin danil, Franciscan monastery with the Church St. Carlo Boromeic, Evangelistic church and Sinagogue.
At two kilometers from Pancevo there is Vojlovica Monastery, existing from 1567 as a foundation of Despot Stevan Lazaevic. Next to the Monastery is Chapel Vodica, and later on the village with the same name was created.
Tamis is rich in fish and close to it there are also hunting areas: Deliblatska pescara, Donje podunavlje and Vrsac mountains.
Downstream from Pancevo, the Danube receives waters from its three branches, and you arrive to Gornja Vinca.
